Todd, Emilie, and Kristen are sitting around the coffee table playing 21. Kristen (8) is our little random comment maker, and keeps us in stitches most days. She's been on the loud side today a few times, screeching things for no apparent reason. A minute ago, she screamed, "Twenty three!!!" which got my complete attention away from surfing, and even stopped the other card players in their tracks.
We all looked up and she leaned back in the rocking chair and said, "I'm harmless."
