Silly Bwogwoll...
Blogroll has gone crazy apparently. If you looked over to the right at all the blogs I read at this very moment, you'd see that they have ALL been updated in the last 24 hours. I am almost completely 100 percent positive that is not true. If it is, I will pay each of you people that write them $5.00 for making me look like I read some hoppin' blogs. ;)

And Prince Ryan he shall remain
Well, Ryan may "only" be a prince among men, but as my friend Gail says, "He's the king in our book ... the king of crazy cool." :) His buddy Ben got to wear the furry blue and white crown, but I was so proud of my boy in his blue plaid suit and gold lame shoes that sparkled from clear across the football field. I'll post some pics later.
(Gail, I did those spaces around the ellipses just for you.)

Prince Ryan
Ryan is one of the four Homecoming King finalists! We couldn't be more surprised or pleased. He and I both got a little emotional (don't tell) and I told him it's amazing coming from such a long familial line of nerds. Heh. Can't wait for the game Friday to see if we will have to bow to King Ryan.
(And did you know, by the way, that Ryan actually means "little king"? How crazy is that? Maybe it was a prophetic move on the part of the people in the waiting room who voted on his name when he was born. Of course, Samuel was my other choice and wasn't he a king, too? See, it was just plain meant to be.)
And, I'm most proud because I know it's not because he's Mr. Typical-Super-Smooth-Most-Popular-And-Snobby Boy, but because he's such a sweet, crazy, Goodwill-dressing, well-liked, kind boy. And maybe because he's tall. ;)
Stay posted for fun pictures, video, and celebrating either way.

A normal week
I feel like I should say something...it's been over a week since I posted.
My life is crazy right now. BUT...I did think of something one day last week. It seems we are always wishing for a "normal" life, doesn't it? We think that if only our lives were "normal," instead of (fill in the blank) we wouldn't be so stressed out. I realized we're wishing and praying for the wrong thing.
Guess what? Our lives are normal. What we should be wishing or praying for are "perfect" lives.
So, without further ado--
Dear God, please let me have a perfect life.
;)
But every day is just the same
Nothing lost and nothing gained
Same old re-run on some child-proof stage
So they say: Vacation in Eden
Bring an apple a day
In the land of childish wonder
Climb the fence and run away
Pretty to visit, but it's hell to stay
Vacation in Eden
Bring an apple a day
